1 - Requirements
- A Gen 3 wallet (which can be created with MyEnergiWallet)
2 - Migration
A new option has been added to v2.4.x, to ease the migration of Gen 2 NRG coins to Gen 3.
You do not need to sync Energi Core Wallet with the Gen 2 blockchain before starting the migration.
2.1 - In your [Gen 2] Energi Core Wallet, go to Tools and then select Gen 3 Migration.
2.2 - You will be prompted to enter your Gen 3 address. Copy it from MyEnergiWallet and select Ok to continue.
2.3 - Verify that it's the correct address, and type the confirmation message. Select Ok once you're ready.
PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THE ENERGI CORE WALLET DURING THE PROCESS.
2.4 - You should now see a confirmation message on your screen!
2.5 - If the operation fails by any reason, it can be safely repeated until all coins are claimed.
Now that the migration went successful, let's check your funds!
3 - Checking your funds
You can check your funds with MyEnergiWallet or with Energi Explorer. Here are the steps with our Explorer.
3.1 - Head over to Energi Explorer:

3.2 - Enter your wallet address in the top-right corner and press ENTER
3.3 - Select Internal Transactions, you will now see you Gen 2 funds!
Note that this [Gen 2] Core Wallet had 2 addresses (with funds on it), explaining the 2 transactions.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed the migration to Gen 3!
Next Step - Staking & Masternode
If you want to stake your coins or run a Masternode, you need to have Energi Core Node installed.
